February 23 - April 9: Flora Borsi @ The Museum of Contemporary Photography and New Media | MONA
Flóra Borsi is 20 years old and lives in Hungary. She has been taking photos since 2007.
"I usually do self-portraits, concept, photo-manipulations, fashion. The essence of my photos is to visualize the physically impossible. With the portraits I'm trying to mediate. I haven't mentioned my style, because I think it hasn't totally emerged, and it's still developing and forming.
"I'm open to every kind of trend. But I always pay attention to the rules of geometry, color harmony and lighting. I would like to communicate emotions, dreams and humor. Mainly I would like to show the emotions both of my models and myself."
The reception will be Sunday, February 23rd from 3 until 7pm:
The Museum of Contemporary Photography and New Media @ MONA is located at 2501 Rochester Court, Troy, MI 48083
This is a MONA presentation. MONA is a non-profit 501(c)3 complex of museums.
